Since the lockdown began way back in March, it has been heartening to see how many people, communities and enterprises are ready to reach out and help those in need. Following our contribution in April to the new wellbeing suite for NHS workers at Guy’s and St Thomas’ hospital, this month Taggstar is supporting People’s Kitchen/To Your Door. This project delivers delicious Sicilian meals to the doors of vulnerable residents in the Trellick Tower and surrounding tower blocks in North Kensington here in London.
The project relies on donations and Taggstar is delighted to have been able to fund Sunday lunch for 150 individuals on 10 May. The food is prepared by the team at the Panella community café in the Goldfinger Factory, an award-winning social enterprise located on the ground floor of Trellick Tower.
